Author's Book Examines Questions of Faith and Salvation

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) September 17, 2008 -- Salvation is for all eternity and should not rely solely upon the teachings of the Catholic Church but on a thorough examination of the Word of God. Xulon Press author Pamela Stewart's The Immaculate Deception (paperback, 978-1-60647-507-2) asks of Catholics two questions: Are you sure you are saved according to the Word of God and not by your feelings or the traditions and teachings of men? Are you aware that Satan's final plan of deception in the Catholic Church is to route devotion from Christ to Mary by exalting Mary as the co-Redemptrix with Christ and the Mediatrix of all grace, a position that not even Mary of the Holy Scriptures would approve of? Stewart's book challenges the reader to examine questions of faith and salvation in this context.

Says Stewart, "It is my sincere desire that Catholics will gain true salvation from reading this book according to the Word of God, and that Mary, the Blessed Virgin, will be restored to a position of honor and dignity in the Catholic Church."

As a child, Stewart attended Catholic school but was not saved in the Catholic Church. Later, she decided to pen this book to help win souls in the Catholic Church. Says Dr. David R. Reagan of Lamb & Lion Ministries, who wrote the foreword to the book, "This book is not an anti-Catholic diatribe. Rather, it is written from a heart of love out of a genuine concern for the eternal destiny of those who are deceived by Roman Catholicism."

Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world's largest Christian publisher, with more than 5,000 titles published to date.
